Laurie Ourlicht

Laurie Ourlicht earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York, Fredonia, and MFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, Philadelphia. She also earned a nursing degree and certification to become a midwife. She worked at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, NY.

Ourlicht exhibited her work at Tyler School of Art; Bronx Museum Satellite Gallery, NY; University of Alaska, Nome; Galerie Eva, Stockholm, Sweden; The Print Center, Philadelphia; Kanagawa Prefectural Gallery in Yokohama, Japan; and Jazzonia Gallery, Detroit, MI.

Among awards and honors received by Ourlicht were a New York Foundation for the Arts artist fellowship and a Third World Fellowship from the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, New York City.
