Linda Schrank

Born in New York City, Linda Schrank earned her BA in art history from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA; an MA from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture, New York City; and she studied painting at Accademia di Belle Arti, Rome, Italy. She lives and works in New York City and Tuscany.

Schrank has exhibited nationally and internationally at Spazio E_EMME, Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy; Piero Della Francesca Foundation, Sansepolcro, Italy; Rosenberg + Kaufman Fine Art, New York City; Kidder Smith Gallery, Boston; Columbia University, New York City; Brown University, Providence, RI; Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ; Etruscan Museum (Accademia Etrusca), Cortona, Italy; and Gallery Spazio Imago,Arezzo, Italy.

Her work is included in major public, corporate, and private collections including the Brooklyn Museum, Pratt Institute, and New York Public Library, New York City; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Houghton Library at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA; Library of Congress and American University, Washington, DC; Minneapolis Institute of Arts, MN; Museum of Ceramics, Torgiano, Italy; Regional Ceramics Museum of Deruta, Italy; International Museum of the Woman in Art, Abruzzo, Italy; University of Houston, TX; and University of Iowa, Iowa City.

She has taught at the Pratt Institute in Graduate Fine Arts, Pratt in Tuscany Program, Parsons School of Design, Parsons in Italy Program, and the Brooklyn Museum Art School.
