Sarah Van Keuren

Sarah van Keuren is a visual artist and author. She earned a BA in art history from Swarthmore College, PA, an MFA in photography at the University of Delaware, Newark, and studied printmaking at the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts). She is an adjunct professor at the University of the Arts teaching non-silver printmaking processes. She is also the author of A Non-Silver Manual and has taught workshops across the United States and in Finland.

She has exhibited her work at institutions such as Hollins University, Roanoke, VA; Rantagalleria, Oulu, Finland; Philadelphia Art Alliance, Fleisher Art Memorial, Woodmere Art Museum, and Esther M. Klein Art Gallery, Philadelphia; Iisalmen Kamera Summer Festival, Finland; Hongik Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea; John Stevenson Gallery and Robin Rice Gallery, New York City; Art Institute of Boston; University of Delaware, Newark; Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, TX; Centre Saidye Bronfman (now Segal Centre for Performing Arts), Montreal, Canada; Center for Contemporary Arts, Santa Fe, NM; and Perkins Center for the Arts, Moorestown, NJ.

Van Keuren’s work can be found in the collections of the Free Library of Philadelphia; State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg; Bryn Mawr College Library, PA; National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
