Three Decades of American Printmaking: The Brandywine Workshop Collection

As an art institution, Brandywine intends to fulfill its role in building bridges across geographic and cultural boundaries through the art of printmaking. We will pursue a central goal of reaching out to young and emerging artists of all backgrounds and to afford opportunities to older ethnic artists who, despite obvious talents and achievements, have not had access to a professional collaborative experience. This publication celebrates the exemplary legacy of Brandywine Workshop and attests to the special role of printmaking as a medium of broad innovation and expresses significant ideas in an accessible format.
